Judi Staats
Economic Development Manager
Judi Staats serves as the Economic Development Manager for the Corona Economic Development Department. On staff for ten years, Staats is seasoned in attracting, retaining and expanding business for the city of Corona.
As an expert on Corona’s economic climate, Staats has helped strengthen the cities local economy through development of programs that foster entrepreneurial development in the business community. Working with the brokerage and development community, Staats has assisted in bringing many quality, revenue enhancing businesses to the city.
She has been a part of the team marketing effort that has produced dynamic growth in the city while maintaining the business friendly atmosphere that Corona is known for. During her employment with the city, Staats has presented the “Corona Story” to numerous trade groups, economic development and real estate associations, and the community as part of the city’s outreach efforts to inform and educate.
Prior to working for the City of Corona, Staats served as the Executive Director for the Southwest Riverside County Economic Development Corporation and in several positions in the real estate industry and legal field.
Staats is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute and was named one of Southern California’s Women of Influence in 2008. Staats also serves as President of the Inland Empire chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women, (CREW) a national organization for women in commercial real estate.
